All correspondence, bookings, and travel-related services offered through SikkimTours.in are managed by the authorized tour operator.

Important Notice

• Full payment must be completed before the commencement of the tour.
• No payments will be accepted after the completion of the tour.
• Confirmed bookings are subject to the cancellation policy outlined below.

Booking & Payments

• An advance payment is required to confirm your booking.
• The remaining balance must be paid before the tour departure date.
• During peak travel seasons, public holidays, Christmas, New Year, and special events, full payment may be required at the time of booking.
• International travelers may remit payments through bank transfer to the designated account provided by SikkimTours.in.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email.

Cancellation charges are applicable as follows:

• More than 45 days before departure: 10% of the total tour cost
• 30–45 days before departure: 25% of the total tour cost
• 15–29 days before departure: 50% of the total tour cost
• Less than 7 days before departure or No-Show: 100% cancellation charges (No Refund)

Special Conditions

• Bookings during peak travel periods, including Christmas, New Year, Durga Puja, and major festivals, may be non-refundable.
• Permits, entry fees, safari bookings, adventure activities, and transportation tickets are non-refundable once confirmed.
• No refunds will be provided for unused services, including accommodation, meals, sightseeing, transportation, or any portion of the tour after commencement.

Pricing & Additional Charges

• Tour prices are based on prevailing rates at the time of booking.
• Any increase in government taxes, permit fees, fuel surcharges, transportation costs, or hotel charges after confirmation will be payable by the traveler.
• Prices are subject to revision without prior notice until the booking is fully confirmed.

Liabilities & Responsibilities

SikkimTours.in acts solely as an intermediary between travelers and service providers such as hotels, airlines, railways, transport operators, and local vendors.

We shall not be held responsible for:

• Delays, cancellations, or schedule changes by airlines, railways, or transport operators.
• Natural calamities, landslides, floods, earthquakes, snowfall, roadblocks, political disturbances, strikes, pandemics, or any force majeure event.
• Loss, theft, damage, or misplacement of personal belongings, baggage, or valuables.
• Personal injury, illness, accident, or death occurring during the tour.

All travelers participate at their own risk and are advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance.

Tour Itinerary

• All itineraries are tentative and may be modified due to weather conditions, road conditions, permit restrictions, operational requirements, or guest safety concerns.
• SikkimTours.in reserves the right to alter, amend, substitute, or cancel any part of the itinerary without prior notice if circumstances require.

Travel Documents & Permits

• Travelers are responsible for carrying valid government-issued identification documents.
• Foreign nationals must carry a valid passport and Indian visa with the required validity period.
• Special permits required for restricted areas of Sikkim will be arranged where applicable, subject to government approval.

Health & Safety

• Travelers should ensure they are medically fit for high-altitude travel and adventure activities.
• Guests suffering from contagious or infectious diseases may be denied participation.
• Any medical expenses incurred during the tour shall be borne by the traveler.

Force Majeure

SikkimTours.in shall not be liable for any loss, damage, delay, cancellation, additional expenses, or disruption caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to adverse weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, civil unrest, transportation failures, or acts of God.

Governing Law

All bookings, services, and agreements made through SikkimTours.in shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of West Bengal, India.
